BOURNE – A rollover crash force the closure of Route 6 in Bourne. The crash happened just before the Sagamore Bridge sometime after 8 AM. Firefighters had to extricate the driver using the Jaws of Life. The victim was transported to South Shore Hospital trauma center in Weymouth with a reported head injury. Because of a large amount of debris in the roadway, traffic was temporarily diverted off at Exit 2 (Route 130). Westbound traffic was reopened about 8:50 AM but residual delays were likely. State Police are investigating the crash.
