HARWICH – Around 12:30 PM Tuesday, Harwich Police and Fire-Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of Route 28 and Neel Road for a 2 car crash with injuries. A Ford Ranger pickup truck and a Ford Expedition had collided causing serious damage to the pickup truck including a fluid spill. All occupants had self extricated with the driver of the pickup requiring treatment and transport with unknown injuries and the occupants of the other vehicle refusing treatment.
Traffic on Route 28 in both directions was blocked at Gorham Road and Julien Road while the scene was worked and the vehicles removed. The accident is under the investigation of Harwich Police.
