HYANNIS – A BMW SUV towing a boat trailer somehow ended up in the water off the Lewis Bay boat ramp in Hyannis around 6 PM. The driver escaped safely and no injuries were reported. Hyannis Firefighters checked for any pollution from the vehicle. Divers assisted in hooking up the vehicle to a tow truck to pull it out of the water. The incident is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
