SANDWICH – The Rogers and Gray Charitable Foundation has announced the beneficiaries of last month’s “Comedy for the Community” fundraiser.
The third annual event, which was held at Haritage Museums and Gardens in October, took in nearly $35 thousand and has divided the sum among CapeAbilities, Community Connections, and New England Village.
“Community support is the bedrock of our company,” says Lynn Mason-Small, Senior Vice
President of Rogers and Gray. “Our Foundation – led by our employees – is making real strides in
being able to support programs and organizations in our community. We look forward to
providing more as the Foundation grows.”
During the program, Rogers and Gray also announced the awarding of several thousand dollar “Surprise Grants” going toward the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum, Plymouth Coalition for the Homeless, South Shore YMCA, Cape Cod Museum of Art, and the Joe Andruzzi Foundation.
