BOURNE – Two people were seriously injured in a rollover crash in Bourne shortly before 11 PM Thursday evening. The vehicle ended up on its side in the front yard of 330 Shore Road in the Monument Beach section of town. Firefighters had to extricate the two victims from the wreckage using the Jaws of Life. Two medical helicopters were requested to the State Police Barracks. One victim was flown by MedFlight to Tufts Medical Center in Boston. The second victim was flown by LifeFlight to a Boston Hospital. Officials don’t believe either person was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The crash is under investigation by Bourne Police.
