FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police report that on Sunday at 10:04 PM, a caller reported that there was a vehicle partially in his driveway. When he shined a light on the car, the operator fled in his vehicle. He smashed into two cars in the driveway and destroyed their fence, picnic table and deck. The vehicle then struck a neighbor’s house before continuing through the backyard and through another fence into a third property on a neighboring street. When officers arrived, the vehicle was still running and in gear and the operator was extremely drunk. As a result, Michael R. Barry, 35, of East Falmouth was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, operating negligently to endanger, and leaving the scene of property damage (2 counts).
