HYANNIS -The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum Foundation is inviting Cape Cod 12th graders to participate in a writing competition to expound on the meaningfulness of the famous quote from President Kennedy.
The foundation challenges students to share a composition about how their involvement in public service, volunteerism and/or community projects help them to become better citizens in today’s society.
The competition requires that participants be a current 12th grade high school student.
The composition must be 300-500 words in length and entries must be received or postmarked no later than Friday, April 6th.
Emails will also be accepted through that day, but compositions must be an attachment to the email.
Applications must complete the JFK Composition application and are available at jfkhyannismuseum.org.
The winner of the competition will receive a scholarship of $2,500 and the opportunity to read the winning composition at a JFK event at a later date.
