BOURNE – Two people were injured, one seriously in a two-vehicle crash in Bourne around 8:15 AM. The crash happened on MacArthur Boulevard (Route 28) near Waterhouse Road. One person had to be extricated by firefighters using the Jaws of Life. That person was taken to Rhode Island Hospital trauma center. A second person was taken to Falmouth Hospital. Police are investigating the cause of the crash. Traffic was heavily backed up to the Bourne Bridge because of the crash.
