FALMOUTH – A Chevy Silverado pickup truck slammed into a utility pole on Thomas B. Landers late Friday morning. The pole was snapped with wires across the roadway forcing the closure of the road between Geggatt Road and Turner Road. Falmouth Police report the driver is facing operating under the influence of liquor charges. Eversource reported 284 customers without power in the area.
