WAREHAM – From Wareham Police: On November 21, at about 2:40 a.m. Wareham police officers responded to the lot of Vaughn’s Towing on Cranberry Highway for a report of a male breaking into vehicles on the property. At the scene, Officer Calib Laure found a male subject hiding under a pick-up truck in the enclosed lot. The male was placed under arrest and during a search illegal narcotics were located on the suspect. Evan Verissimo, 26, of Acushnet is being charged with trespassing and possession with intent to distribute a class B drug. Officers Ryan Gomes and Chris Corner assisted in the arrest.
