FALMOUTH – From Falmouth Police: At about 7:40 OM on Thursday evening, a male walked into the police station’s lobby to report finding a wallet near TJ Maxx. The station officer contacted the owner of the wallet and she reported she had mistakenly left it at Walmart and there should be $260.00 cash inside the wallet. Another officer reviewed the surveillance video from Walmart and discovered the original reporting male had taken the wallet from Walmart. The officer contacted the male and he confessed to taking $260.00 cash from the wallet. The cash was returned to the owner and the male will be summonsed to court for the larceny.
