WEST TISBURY – An early morning fire killed dozens of animals in West Tisbury. The blaze raged through a barn at the Flat Point Farm. West Tisbury Police reported 22 lambs, 12 sheep, two beef cattle and 50 chickens were killed and several hundred bales of hay were burned as well. The fire is not considered suspicious and may have been sparked by a heat lamp.
