FALMOUTH – For the second time Wednesday, Falmouth firefighters were called to a house fire. The call at 481 Sippewissett Road came in shortly after 5 PM. The fire was reportedly in the attic of the home with smoke showing on arrival. No injuries were reported but the fire caused extensive damage to the attic and roof. The cause of the fire is under investigation but is not considered suspicious. Mutual aid from Mashpee, Joint Base Cape Cod and Cotuit FDs covered the Falmouth stations.
