WAREHAM – Wareham residents concluded town meeting this week, culminating in the approval of a balanced, $66.1 million budget.
Much of the money will go to pay for benefits for municipal employees.
Another large portion is for the school district budget which came in at $29.4 million.
$3.6 million was allocated to the Upper Cape Cod Technical Regional High School. The school district also got $200,000 to repair the Anderson athletic track.
In other action, residents also approved $650,000 for four units of affordable housing for seniors at Agawam Village.
