HYANNIS – One person was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital after reportedly being stabbed in the chest in Hyannis. It happened on the Village Green off Main Street shortly after 10:30 PM Sunday evening. The victim, identified by the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Officer as 23-year- Brendan Flynn was pronounced dead at CCH. The suspect, 32-year old Nicholas Galanto reportedly fled on a bicycle but was apprehended a short time later. Galanto was arraigned Monday in Barnstable District Court on murder charges and ordered held without bail. No addresses of the involved parties were given. No motive for the attack was given.
