FALMOUTH – A reported pole fire brought down primary power lines in Falmouth. It happened about 11 AM Tuesday in the 500 block of West Falmouth Highway (Route 28). About 1,000 Eversource customers lost power. Route 28 was closed in the area until repair crews could clear the line.
Meanwhile an Osprey nest sparked another pole fire on Thomas B. Landers Road near Route 28.
