CENTERVILLE – From Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills (COMM) Fire: At 11:50 PM on June 12th, the COMM Fire Department received a call from Barnstable Police for a person in distress on Lake Wequaquet. COMM Fire dispatched 2 ambulances with 2 small boats, Dive Team and a command vehicle. Further report received of a capsized wave runner with 3 people in the water. On COMM Fire’s arrival, the 3 individuals had been pulled from the water by a family member in a separate boat and were being brought to shore. All occupants were evaluated by EMS, no occupants were transported. The Wave runner was later retrieved by a COMM fire boat and brought to shore.
