YARMOUTH – Several people were injured when a car struck a utility pole on Route 28 in Yarmouth by the Hunters Green motel sometime after 10 PM Friday. Four people were taken by ambulances to Cape Cod Hospital. The pole was snapped and wires down. Power was out to 830 Eversource customers. Route 28 was closed between Winslow Gray Road and South Sea Avenue. The crash is under investigation by Yarmouth Police.
