HYANNIS – A small plane landed safely at Barnstable Municipal Airport sometime after 1 PM Friday after the pilot reported a problem with the nose gear. The pilot attempted to rectify the problem before setting down as Hyannis Firefighters stood by along with the airport crash truck. None of the 5 people on board were injured. The FAA will investigate the incident.
