BOURNE – On Thursday, Bourne firefighters worked with members of the U.S. Coast Guard, the Massachusetts DEP, Sandwich Fire Department, Sandwich DNR, and Bourne DNR for oil spill response training. In addition to the classroom education, crews deployed 200 feet of containment boom to protect the Taylor’s Point Marina area of a simulated oil spill.
