Middleboro Animal Cruelty Suspect to Appear in Court

WAREHAM–The arraignment of Michael Perette, a Middleboro man facing animal cruelty charges, is set for Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Wareham District Court.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston collaborated with the Middleboro Police and Animal Control Departments in October to seize 24 animals from Perette’s property.

The ARL has since been caring for the animals until they are ready for adoption at their centers, including their Brewster location.

The ARL said several of the animals have found new homes, but work is still needed for others that were seized.
