SANDWICH – Two people were evaluated after falling ill in Sandwich Thursday afternoon. The incident happened on Kalmia Path sometime after 4 p.m. One person was taken to Cape Cod Hospital. Firefighters initially suspected carbon monoxide but readings in the house were negative. Officials are still investigating what caused the illness.
