HYANNIS – A construction crew struck a gas main in Hyannis around 2:30 p.m. The incident happened at the construction site at the old Day’s Inn by the Cape Cod Mall on Route 132. Firefighters evacuated the area and pulled a hose line until National Grid could arrive and shut off the gas. No injuries were reported.
