FALMOUTH – Firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire in Falmouth around 5:30 a.m. An alert passerby spotted smoke and fire coming from the roof of the garage at 141 Braeside Road. The house was vacant at the time and no injuries were reported. Mutual aid from Mashpee and Joint Base Cape Cod was called to cover the Falmouth fire stations.
