SANDWICH – Firefighters are on the scene of a two-alarm fire in Sandwich. The call at 4 Richard’s Way came in around 3 PM. Firefighters were ordered out of the building as crews turned to a defensive attack. By 3:45 PM most of the fire had been knocked down. No one was apparently home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The State Fire Marshal was called to investigate the cause of the fire.
