BOURNE – One person was injured when fire broke out in a mobile home in Pocasset. Firefighters were called to 8 1st Street in the Pocasset Mobile Home Park shortly before 8 AM to find smoke pouring from the structure. The victim was taken to Falmouth Hospital for evaluation of smoke inhalation. Firefighters were hampered by a frozen hydrant. Bourne Police closed a section of Barlow’s Landing Road for a time because of the fire. The State Fire Marshal was requested to investigate the cause of the fire.
