HARWICH – A toddler was reportedly bitten in the face by the family dog in Harwich sometime before 3 PM. The incident happened at a residence in the 1700 block of Orleans Road (Route 39). The victim was taken to Barnstable Municipal Airport to meet a MedFlight helicopter for transport to a trauma center. Harwich Police and Harwich Animal Control are investigating the incident. Further details were not immediately available.
