YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report on Friday at 11:48 a.m., multiple 911 callers reported a vehicle had left the roadway and crashed through the exterior properties of the Mill Store and the Super 8 Motel located on Route 28/East Main Street in West Yarmouth.
Yarmouth Police and Firefighters arrived at the scene and secured the area and investigated the crash. The driver was not seriously injured and reported that she had fallen asleep.
Over $10,000 in damage occurred to the properties involved which were fencing, two jungle gyms, a pergola, and landscaping.
None of the violations are arrestable offenses under these circumstances in Massachusetts.
The driver, Jessica Lynn Enos, 26, of Falmouth was charged with operating negligently to endanger, and marked lanes violation.
