YARMOUTH PORT – Just after 2:30 p.m. Friday a car struck a motorcycle on Route 6A near the Fiddlers Green Plaza in Yarmouth Port. Two motorcycles were traveling together heading east intending to make a left turn off the highway.
The first motorcycle made the turn successfully but the second one was struck from the rear by a Subaru sedan as it was making the turn.
The female operator of the motorcycle was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries.
The operator of the Subaru stayed at the scene. Traffic was reduced to one lane in the area until the scene could be cleared. Yarmouth police are investigating.
