CHATHAM – Monday morning at approximately 10 AM, a Kia Spectra sedan that had reportedly been traveling erratically on Route 28 crashed head-on into a Ford Escape in front of #2705 Route 28. A Harwich Police report five minutes earlier had a white Kia passing through Harwichport crossing the double yellow lines and driving in the opposite lane. The male driver of the Kia was taken to Cape Cod Hospital by the Chatham Fire and Rescue with unknown injuries. The driver of the Ford Escape escaped with minor injuries, no transport. Chatham police are handling the investigation.
