JOINT BASE CAPE COD – A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter experienced a fire in its engine Thursday evening. Joint Base Cape Cod crash crews responded to the scene on the tarmac at the base around 8 p.m. The fire was out when they arrived and no injuries were reported. Further details were not immediately available.
