COTUIT – Fire damaged a home in Cotuit Tuesday afternoon. The fire at 3 Elmwood Circle was reported about 4:20 p.m. and reportedly started in a clothes dryer. Flames were visible on the first floor when crews arrived. They were able to quickly knock down the fire and no injuries were reported. Mutual aid from Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills and Hyannis was called in. The exact cause of the fire is under investigation.
