Fire reported at Sagamore apartment complex

BOURNE – Fire was reported at the Cherry Hill Apartments on Old Plymouth Road about 6:15 PM Monday. Initial reports say the fire started in a kitchen. An ambulance was requested to evaluate a civilian at the scene. Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire and checked for any spread to the second floor. The exact cause of the fire is under investigation.
