YARMOUTH – The First Responders and American Pride motorcycle ride will take place on Cape Cod this weekend.
This 50-mile police escorted motorcycle ride is open to all riders and will start at Yarmouth Police Headquarters at 12:00 noon on Sunday, October 15.
It will travel through portions of Yarmouth, Dennis, Brewster, Orleans, Chatham and Harwich and end up at the Moose Family Lodge in South Yarmouth.
Everyone is urged to be in place at Yarmouth Police Headquarters located at 341 Higgins Crowell Road by 10:00AM.
A special Opening Ceremony honoring all fallen First Responders will start promptly at 11:30 AM with kickstands up at 12:00 Noon.
Cost is only a $10 donation for each bike and will include a special red white and blue Memorial Bandanna to the first 100 riders.
Proceeds from the ride will benefit the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Motor Officer Unit which provides specially trained Police Officers to special events and public safety operations on Cape Cod.

Citizens are encouraged to stand safely alongside the roadway anywhere along the route and wave an American flag.
Leave Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters at 1200
Exit lot and turn right on Higgins Crowell Road to Willow Street
Turn Right at Willow and travel to Route 6A
Turn right and travel on Route 6A through Yarmouthport into Dennis
Turn right at 134 in Dennis
Travel to exit 9 and get on Route 6 East
Travel through Brewster on Route 6
Exit Route 6 at exit 12
Turn right on Eldridge Parkway in Orleans
Turn right and travel on Route 28 in to Chatham
Stay on Route 28 to Chatham rotary
Travel on Route 28 through Chatham and Harwich
Turn left on to Lower County Road
Travel all the way through Harwich and Dennis back to Route 28 in West Dennis
Turn left on to Route 28 over Bass River Bridge in to Yarmouth
Turn left on to Old Main Street
Turn left on to South Street
Travel along South Street to South Shore Drive along the ocean
Turn Right on to Seaview Avenue
Travel north on Seaview Avenue
Turn left in to parking lot at The Moose Family Lodge
