SANDWICH – A man was injured in a lawnmower accident in Sandwich shortly before noon. According to reports the victim severed the tips of two fingers. He was taken from the scene on Powderhorn Way to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth to meet a MedFlight helicopter for transport to a trauma center. Further details were not immediately available.
