ORLEANS – Orleans Police report that they responded to a major motor vehicle crash on Route 28 Saturday morning. Police thank the two citizens who stopped to render aide. Orleans Rescue worked quickly to safely extricate the operator from the vehicle. Police say Route 28 was coated in black ice this morning and urge motorists to remember to use caution driving especially in colder weather when black ice may be prevalent.
