HYANNIS – A plane made an emergency landing at the Barnstable Municipal Airport in Hyannis after declaring an in-flight emergency Saturday afternoon. The plane with 8 people on board was reportedly headed to Provincetown when it was diverted after the pilot reported an indication that the landing gear might not have deployed properly. The plane set down safely around 2:15 p.m. with Hyannis firefighters and the airport crash truck standing by. No injuries were reported. The FAA will investigate the incident.
