Recent arrests in Wareham

WAREHAM – From Wareham Police: Multiple arrests have been made by Wareham Police Officers in the past several days.

Sandra Mahler

1. On Thursday, Oct 4 at 7:10 a.m. Sandra Jean Mahler, 43, of East Wareham, was arrested by Officer Stephen Harrison following a motor vehicle stop on Cranberry Highway. She was charged with, operating after suspension, 4th offense, and also had two active default warrants.

David Murphy

2. On Friday, at 6:45 a.m., David Murphy, 34, of Wareham was arrested at his residence, due to an outstanding warrant. He was arrested by Officers Justin Silveira and Ryan Gomes.

Darren Pina

3. Later on Friday, at about 2:00 p.m. Darren Pina, 46, of Wareham, was arrested by Officers Richard Robidoux and Christopher Smith after a shoplifting incident at Walmart. Mr. Pina fled the store prior to officer’s arrival but was spotted on Main Street in a vehicle by Officer Smith. Mr. Pina was alleged to have opened a package of box cutters, remove one and proceed to go around the store using the box cutter to open packages, then concealing items, including several pairs of tee shirts, underwear, socks, and a package of headlight bulbs. He is charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

Aaron Whipp-Pacheco

4. On Saturday at about 11:30 p.m. officers responded to Second Avenue for a report of male chopping wood, playing loud music, and causing a general disturbance at his residence. At the scene officers encountered Aaron Whipp-Pacheco, 24, of 6 Second Avenue, who told officers he was on his property and officers could not tell him what to do. He then began flailing his arms wildly exclaiming, “Just try and arrest me”. After being advised he was being placed under arrest, he yelled an expletive at the officers and attempted to run to an open bulkhead, however officers were able to stop him there, and placed him under arrest. He is charged with, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest, and intimidation of a witness after threatening an individual at the scene. The arrest was made by Officers Nate Aronson and James White.

Greg Donahue

5. On Sunday, at about 9:15 a.m. Officer Charles Pillsbury arrested Greg Donahue, 35, of of Buzzards Bay following a motor vehicle stop on Cranberry Highway. He is charged with operating after suspension.

6. Multiple other people were taken into custody over these days including several for protective custody due to alcohol intoxication and domestic related issues.
