CAPE COD – A strong squall line raced across portions of Cape Cod Friday morning. Torrential downpours and frequent lightning were reported along with small hail and gusty winds. A couple of lightning strikes were reported in Falmouth where about 250 Eversource customers lost power. Despite warnings of potential wind damage in the Orleans to Truro section of the Cape, no damage reports had been received as of this report.
