DENNIS – Around 10:30 AM Sunday, an elderly woman apparently lost control of her GMC Terrain and struck a utility pole on Route 28. The driver was not hurt but Route 28 between Shad Hole Road and Sea Street was closed for utility workers to replace the pole. Power was knocked out in the neighborhood as well. The crash is under investigation by Dennis Police.
