DENNIS – Around 4:30 PM, Dennis Police and Fire Rescue were dispatched to the retail store located at Route 28 and Division Street in Dennisport for the report of a youth on the roof of the building. While en route further information was received that the young male had jumped or slipped from the building roof onto the roof of a nearby box truck at the rear of the building. Upon arrival of rescuers an individual was located on the ground next to the box truck. The person was reported to be conscious and alert and it was unclear if he was performing a “stunt” and had jumped on purpose or fallen from the top of the box truck. Dennis Medics treated the patient who appeared to have non life threatening injuries and he was transported by Dennis Ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital. The scene was cleared within about a half an hour. Dennis Police are in charge of the investigation.
