FALMOUTH – A tractor-trailer truck reportedly struck a utility pole in Falmouth. The crash happened shortly before 11:30 AM Friday in the area of Dunkin at 614 Main Street (Route 28) near Nye Road. The driver was not injured but had to wait in the vehicle until Eversource could cut the power. The crash is under investigation by Falmouth Police who reported that Main Street was closed, between Scranton Avenue & King Street. About 3 PM, Eversource was reporting about 800 customers without power in Falmouth which was quickly reduced to 145.
