SANDWICH – Two people suffered burns in an incident in Sandwich around 9:15 a.m. Sandwich Fire tweeted that they were called to a Sheldon Lane residence for a reported explosion with burn victims. Crews arrived to find 2 patients with burns. One victim reportedly used gasoline to light a outside fire when the incident occurred. The extent of injuries was not immediately clear although crews decided MedFlight was not needed. The victims were taken by ambulance to Falmouth and Cape Cod Hospitals.
