HARWICH PORT – Around 5 PM Wednesday, a female bicyclist was struck at Route 28 and the driveway leaving Cape Cod Five and TD Bank. The Harwich Fire and Rescue took her to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. The male driver of the Jeep Grand Cherokee that struck the woman stayed at the scene of the accident. According to reports, the female cyclist was riding on the wrong side of the road when she was hit. By law, bicycles are supposed to ride as the same direction of motor vehicles. Harwich Police are handling the investigation.
