Yarmouth Police arrest and charge 2 alleged Boston-area drug dealers

YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police have arrested and charged two alleged Boston-area drug dealers.

Officer Sean Geary observed a red Nissan back into the driveway of 19 Checkerberry Lane in West Yarmouth Friday afternoon.

That location   had been an ongoing problem house for the Yarmouth Police Department and the citizens and families in the neighborhood for the past several months as people living in the residence were allegedly involved in the distribution of heroin and crack cocaine.

A few weeks ago, all residents were evicted by a Barnstable County Sheriff’s Civil Process Deputy and “No Trespassing” signs were posted on the property.

A check of the two trespassers found two subjects inside well known to Cape Cod and Boston area Law Enforcement. Both subjects, identified as Demetrius Bennett, 26, and Jumonai Mobley, 26, are alleged members of Boston area gangs.

 

The operator of the car initially lied about his identity. Both identities were confirmed and a search located a large amount crack cocaine packets inside a larger bag and a bag of powder cocaine and a large number of Oxycodone pills

Drugs seized were:
18 small bags of crack cocaine 
1 small bag of powdered cocaine
44 pills that were an Acetaminophen/Oxycodone Mix

LICENSE REVOKED, OPERATING MV WITH
