Yarmouth Police help fellow law enforcement agencies in Texas impacted by Hurricane Harvey

YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Police Department is helping in the Hurricane Harvey  recovery effort by providing a drop-off location for monetary donations that will be sent to members of law enforcement in Texas impact by the storm.

The Houston Police Department has already lost so much, including Houston Police Sergeant Steve Perez, a 34-year veteran who drowned in his car trying to get to work at 4 a.m. on Sunday, August 27th.

The Yarmouth Police Department in partnership with the Yarmouth Police Foundation is raising funds to provide aid to law enforcement people during this disaster.

100% of whatever is donated will go directly to Houston-area law enforcement people who have suffered severe losses from the floods.

If you can help, please drop off a donation anytime here at Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters located at One Brad Erickson Way in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts 02673 or send a check to The Yarmouth Police Foundation PO Box 701 Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts 02675.

All donations are fully tax deductible.
