YARMOUTHPORT – At about 8:30 Saturday night there was a 2 vehicle accident in the area of 33 Union St. in Yarmouthport. A Nissan sedan appeared to have collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee causing the Jeep to end up on its side off the road. Both drivers were evaluated at the scene and it was unclear if either were going to be transported to the hospital. Union St. was closed in both directions from Route 6A to While Rock Rd. until the scene was cleared. Yarmouth Police are investigating.
