NANTUCKET – A Baby Center (ABC), the Cape and Islands Diaper Bank and a program of the Cape Cod Council of Churches, has announced the opening of a satellite location on Nantucket.
The new venture was made possible by a community impact grant from the National Diaper Bank Network and a partnership with Family Continuity’s Nantucket Family Resource Center.
At ABC Nantucket, families will be able to visit once every 30 days for diapers and wipes and small infant goods (a book or a toy).
Families can also special order a few outfits for their babies.
The orders are filled by volunteers at ABC’s Hyannis location and then are delivered back to Nantucket for pick up the following week.
All services are provided free of charge.
A Baby Center Nantucket is offering free services to the Nantucket community every Wednesday from 10am to 2:30pm.
