Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Announces Fellowship Winners

HYANNIS – Three Cape artists have received 2016 fellowship awards from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.

This is the second year of the fellowship program and included two new discipline categories.

This year’s winners are Jackie Reeves, of Sandwich, in visual arts, Christopher Busa, of Provincetown, for written word and South Dennis resident Alex Becrelis for performing arts.

All three artists received $1,500 fellowships.

Submissions were anonymously judged based on the quality and creative ability of the work submitted. Applications were open to all eligible Cape Cod artisits.

A total of 55 applications were received in the three categories.
