Barnstable Community Innovation School To Hold Open House

The Barnstable Community Horace Mann Charter Public School will transition to the Barnstable Community Innovation School for the 2019-2020 school year.

HYANNIS – An open house is being held next week for the newly renamed charter school in Hyannis.

The Barnstable Community Innovation School, formerly known as the Barnstable Community Horace Mann Charter Public School has invited parents and children to visit the school on Tuesday March 26^th from 5:30-7 p.m. where they will have the opportunity to take a tour of the school.

The only major change coming for the school is that it will now fall under the oversight of the superintendent and school committee rather than a board of trustees that govern the school.

Teachers at the school will remain and children currently attending the school will remain. Onsite pre-registration support and Portuguese and Spanish interpreters will be on site.  

Students must be pre-registered by April 8^th to be included in the public lottery on April 9^th.
